Under the Tuscan Sun (film)

Under the Tuscan Sun is a love story by director Audrey Wells from 2003, which was filmed in American- Italian co-production. The film is based on the autobiography of the same name by Frances Mayes. Germany premiere was on 15 April 2004.

Action

Frances Mayes lives as a writer in San Francisco. At a party, she learns that her husband has cheated on her. You can divorce, which makes them depressed and writer's block triggers. Her best friend Patti, a lesbian, is pregnant and also believes Frances would not recover from the setbacks. Patti invites Frances to a trip to Tuscany, which they themselves can not compete because of a pregnancy.
