Vahl-Ebersing

Vahl- Ebersing is a commune with 542 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Forbach, to Canton Grostenquin and community association Mosellan Centre.

Geography

Vahl- Ebersing is located six kilometers south-east of the former mining town of Saint- Avold and about 15 kilometers from the border of the Saarland. The northern part of 6.3 km ² of the municipal area consists of forests and pastures, the southern part is dominated by arable land and built-up land. The area around the town is located on a ridge falls to the northeast and south to the headwaters Ruisseau du Bisch Forest and L' Annelbach from - both of which are tributaries of the German Nied.

Neighboring communities of Vahl- Ebersing are Altviller and Lachambre in the north, Biding in the east, Laning and Lixing- lès -Saint -Avold in the south and Lelling and Folschviller in the West.
