Vasily Shukshin

Vasily Makarovich Schukschin (Russian Василий Макарович Шукшин, scientific transliteration Vasilii Makarovic Šukšin; born July 25, 1929 in Srostki, Siberia, † October 2, 1974 in Kletskaya near Volgograd) was a Russian writer, director and actor.
