Västertorp metro station

Västertorp is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in the homonymous district Västertorp. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day here rise to 3,000 commuters and around.

The station was taken on April 5, 1964 in operation, as the first section of Röda was inaugurated linjen between T- centralen and Fruängen. The platforms are located above ground in high position. The station is located between the stations Hägerstensåsen and Fruängen. Stockholm Central Station, there are about eight kilometers.
