Vatroslav Lichtenegger

Vatroslav light Egger (* 1809, † 1885 in Zagreb ) was an Austro- Croatian poet.

Life

Light Egger 1861 harmonized the national anthem of Croatia - " Lijepa naša domovino ". He died over 75 years and have found his final resting place on the Mirogoj Cemetery in Zagreb.

Light Egger is the father of opera singer Mathilde Mallinger.
