Velle -le- Châtel is a commune in Haute -Saône in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Velle -le- Châtel is located at an altitude of 223 m above sea level, 8 km west-southwest of Vesoul (air line). The village is located in the central part of the department in which the Talniederung Baignotte, at the western foot of the heights, which rise between the river valleys of the Saône and Ognon.

The area of ​​3.00 km ² municipal area includes a portion in the region of the upper Saônebeckens. History
