Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij

The Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij (VSM ) is a heritage railway in Beekbergen, Gelderland, in the Netherlands, which was founded in 1975.

The VSM operates a steam train running on its own 22 km long railway line Apeldoorn - Dieren in the Dutch province of Gelderland in the east of the country, not far from the border with Germany. Are mainly former German steam locomotives to use.

For VSM-Bahnbetriebswerk/Bahnhof Beekbergen include an engine shed, in which major repairs can be carried out, a turntable, platforms and Lokomotiv treatment plants. In Bahnbetriebswerk a large collection of (steam) is locomotives from Germany, Poland and the Netherlands to see.

" Volver naar toen - Going back to that time " - that is the motto of the great railway spectacle that the VSM held every year on the first weekend of September in Gelderland.

Several times a year, at the VSM vehicles with special trains in the Netherlands. 2007 had the VSM eleven operational steam locomotives, including two German class 23, a class 44, a class 64 and Polish TKP 23
