Verušičky

Verušičky ( German Klein Werscheditz, also Kleinwerscheditz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers east of Bochov and belongs to Okres Karlovy Vary.

Geography

Verušičky is located south of the Doupov Mountains in Tepler highlands near the river Velka Trasovka. In the north the municipality borders on the military training area Hradiště. To the northwest rises the Verušičky vrch ( Werscheditzer mountain, 668 m). In the south of the main road runs 6 / E 48

Neighboring towns are Albeřice and Týniště in the north, Velky Hlavákov in the northeast, and Vrbice Skřipová in the east, and Mokrá Štoutov the southeast, Čichalov in the south, Veselov and Knínice the southwest, Budov in the west and Záhoří and Luka in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1572. Verušičky formed with Luka own basic rule.

After the abolition of Patrimonialharrschaften created in 1850 the municipality Small Werscheditz / Verušičky in the district Luditz. 1870, the village had 273 inhabitants, of whom 242 were Catholic and Protestant denomination 7, were added 24 Jews. Ten years later, the population 246 people in 37 houses of small Werscheditz. By 1930, the population dropped to 230 after the Munich Agreement in 1938 was small Werscheditz slammed the German empire and until 1945 the village belonged to the district Luditz. 1939 Small Werscheditz had 158 inhabitants. After the end of the war Verušičky came back to Czechoslovakia and was filed in 1946 in the Okres Toužim. Since 1961 Verušičky belongs to Okres Karlovy Vary. In 1961, the incorporation of Budov, Týniště and Hřivínov and Vahaneč with Záhoří. Since 1975, Luka is a district of Verušičky.

As part of the downsizing of the military training areas in 2015 Albeřice will be added as the district to Verušičky.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Verušičky Budov ( Buda ), Hřivínov ( Mokowitz ), Luka ( Luck ), Týniště ( Thöni 's ), Vahaneč ( Bohentsch ) Verušičky (small Werscheditz ) and Záhoří ( Serles ), at the same time also form Katastralbezirke.
