Vesce (Tábor District)

Vesce ( German Wesetz, formerly Wesec ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers southwest of Soběslav in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Tábor.

Geography

Vesce is on the left of the Lainsitz in land Soběslavská blata in Trebon Basin. To the north rises the Chrastina (513 m).

Neighboring towns are Chmelařka, Mokrá, Nedvědice, Veselka and Pod Svákovem in the north, Soběslav in the northeast and east, Čeraz, Čejnov and Dráchov the southeast, Žíšov, Borkovice and Hajnice in the south, Borkovický Dvůr Zálší and Klečaty the southwest, Záluží in the west and Vlastiboř and U Luhu in the northwest.

History

The first written mention was made in 1421 as the farmyard of the destroyed by the Hussites monastery Louňovice. Emperor Sigismund signed over the farm in 1436, together with the other possessions of the monastery of the property of the Hussite town of Tábor, which had already taken possession of the above. The village was established by Emphyteutisierung of yard. 1548 acquired the Rosenbergs heirs Wesec and hit the village of her reign Wittingau to. In 1713, the corresponding rule for Wittingau protection and Munizipalstadt Soběslav bought from the village of domination. In 1840 Wesetz / Wesce consisted of 13 houses and 90 inhabitants. Vicarage was Nedwietitz ( Nedvědice ). Until the mid-19th century Wesetz remained subservient always as a council of the city Soběslav village.

After the abolition of patrimonial Vesce / Wesetz formed in 1850 with the districts Ceraz and Mokré a municipality in the district of Tábor team and the district court Soběslav. Both districts broke away in 1878 and formed their own communities going. In 1948 Vesce from the Okres Tábor was spun in the newly formed Okres Soběslav. This was redissolved in 1961 and assigned to the Vesce Okres Tábor again. At the same time the incorporation of Mokrá and Čeraz was. 1 July 1980 Vesce was amalgamated with its two districts in the city Soběslav. After a referendum Vesce, Mokrá and Čeraz solved for November 24, 1990 going again and formed the community Vesce.
