Vibeke Skofterud

Vibeke Skofterud ( born April 20, 1980 in Askim ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier.

She won at the 2003 World Championships in Val di Fiemme and silver at the World Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf gold in the relay. Also at the 2007 World Championships in Sapporo, she was successful in the season and won the bronze medal.

At the Olympic Winter Games 2010 in Vancouver Skofterud won the gold medal as the first leg of the 4x5 - km relay. Their use was at risk after a fall in tracking the women's race, in which she dislocated the shoulder to the end. In 2011 she won the Vasaloppet.
