Victor Berrizbeitia

Victor Garaygordóbil Berrizbeitia ( born October 17, 1915 in Ochandiano, Spain) is a retired prelate of Los Ríos.

Life

Victor Garaygordóbil Berrizbeitia was ordained on June 27, 1943 priests. Pope Paul VI. appointed him on 29 November 1963 prelates of Los Ríos and Titular Bishop of Pudentiana.

The Apostolic Nuncio in Ecuador Alfredo Bruniera consecrated him on January 30 of next year to the bishop; Co-consecrators were César Antonio Mosquera Corral, Archbishop of Guayaquil and Nicanor Carlos Gavinales Chamorro, Bishop of Porto Viejo.

On 5 January 1978 he renounced under the new guidelines of the Roman Curia on his Titularbischofssitz. From his office he resigned on 12 May 1982.
