Victor Keyru
Viktor Dschonowitsch Keiru (Russian Виктор Джонович Кейру; born August 31, 1984 in Rostov-on- Don, RSFSR ) is a Russian professional basketball player. Keiru played in 2008 in the Olympic team of the Russian national team and was followed by two seasons with the dominant Russian basketball club CSKA Moscow active. He subsequently worked for Russian clubs he will return in 2013 on the playfield Russian Euro Challenge winner Krasnye Krylia Samara.
Career
Keiru was built until 2003 in the reserve and youth teams of UNICS from Kazan. In the 2003 / 04 season, the 19 -year-old Keiru got first appearances in the first team of the reigning Cup winner in the highest Russian League Super League Russia. In the 2007 /08 season he returned to UNICS and was in the Russian championship at the end of third parties. In the ULEB Cup in 2007 /08 they reached the Elite Eight - finals. His performance earned him a nomination in the national squad and he took with the national team at the 2008 Olympics in part. The reigning European champion and disappointed there but dropped out after only a preliminary round victory prematurely in five games out.
Keiru not only had recommended for the national team, also the dominant Russian basketball club and acting ULEB Euro League titlist PBK CSKA Moscow took Keiru 2008 in his squad on. However, in the first class occupied Squad from CSKA to Keiru could not prevail in the following two seasons because of injuries and also was only a reserve player.
