Víctor Mora (comics)

Víctor Mora i Pujades ( born June 6, 1931 in Barcelona, Spain ) is a Spanish author and comic book writer.

Life and work

At the age of 20 years, Mora was already active as a translator for a publishing house in Barcelona. In 1956 he produced under the pseudonym Victor Alcazar by the cartoonist Ambrós ( Miguel Ambrosio ) drawn figure of Capitán Trueno. In subsequent years, Mora worked with, among others, the signatories Francisco Hidalgo (Doctor Niebla ), Carlos Giménez (Delta 99) and Víctor de la Fuente ( Sunday ). With Giménez he created in 1969 the comic series Dani Futuro, which was at first but then published in the Spanish magazine Gaceta Junior, also in the French magazine Tintin.

In the 1970s, Mora began working for magazines such as Pif Gadget and Pilote. For erstgenanntes Magazine particular series Taranis fils de la Gaule and Amicalement vôtre emerged. Both series were drawn by Carlo Raffaele Marcello. Amicalement vôtre is an adaptation of the British television series The Two. For pilots in collaboration with Jaime Brocal Remohí Arcane and in collaboration with Luis Garcia Les Chroniques de l' Innommé.

In 1979, Mora wrote the scenario for the shares subscribed by Annie Goetzinger Comic Felina. In the same year he started together with the artist José Maria Cardona series Gigantik. After Mora in the 1980s with various signatories launched new projects - including Les anges d' acier with Víctor de la Fuente - he continued in the second half of the 1980s Capitán Trueno.

For Carícies d'un desconegut Mora received the 1998 Premio Fiter Rossell y. In German are of him next to the novel The plane from Barcelona ( Les platanes de Barcelone ), among others, the comic series Dani Futuro, The Stainless (Les inoxydables, drawings by Antonio Parras ) was released and Trueno.
