The Viking Truvor (Russian Викинг Трувор ) is a river cruise ship in the GDR Boizenburg / Roßlau was founded in 1987 by the VEB Elbe shipyards built in Boizenburg and Dmitriy Furmanov class, Project 302, a part of Series II. The German designation was BIFA 129М ( inland passenger ship 129 meters) and the hull number 391 The ship of Viking River Cruises on the cruise route Saint Petersburg - Mandrogi - Kizhi - Goritsy ( Scheksna ) - Uglich - Moscow used.

History

The river cruise ship with four passenger decks in 1987 for the shipping company " Severo- Sapadnoje Retschnoje Parochodstwo " ( North West River shipping company ) in what was then Leningrad built. It belongs to a series of 1983 to 1991 produced 27 1 (Vladimir Vysotskiy - not finished) ships Dmitriy Furmanov class, a development of Vladimir Ilyich class of the same yard. The ship has a diesel-electric drive with three main engines. 2012 was the ship that was originally after the Russian politician Sergei Kirov (aka Sergei Mironovich Kostrikow ) was named, renamed to better marketing in Viking Truvor, rebuilt and is back in use since May 2012.

Equipment

All the comfortable 2-bed cabins are equipped with air conditioning, 26 " TV, refrigerator, shower and WC, 220 V connection and have large windows (except the lower deck ). On board are a restaurant and a bar-restaurant, two bars, a library, meeting room, sun deck with lounge chairs, music room, sauna.
