Viktor Tretiakov

Viktor Viktorovich Tretyakov (Russian: Виктор Викторович Третьяков; born October 17, 1946 in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia ) is a Russian violinist and conductor.

Life and work

He was born into a family of musicians. With a young age he discovered his talent and love for his violin. In 1965, Viktor Tretyakov studied at the Moscow Conservatory, in the class of Prof. Yuri Jankelewitsch who promoted his talent outstanding, because in the same year was Tretyakov winner of the Union Competition for Violin and thus received a diploma of the first degree.
