Villa Vaca Guzmán

Muyupampa (also: Villa Vaca Guzmán Villa Vittorio Guzmán ) is a country town in the department of Chuquisaca in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location

Muyupampa is the seat of the administration of the province Luis Calvo and central place of the district ( bolivian: Municipio), the municipality of Villa Vaca Guzmán. The city lies at an altitude of 1189 m on the Rio Ñancahuazú, a left tributary of the Río Parapeti. History

In 1967 the name Muyupampa went through the world press, as in April failed an attack by the guerrilla group led by Che Guevara in the village.
