Vince Rocco
Vincent " Vince " Rocco ( born June 26, 1987 in Woodbridge, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player Italo- standing since 2013 in IF Troja Ljungby - in second-rate Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan under contract.
Career
Vince Rocco began his career as a hockey player with the Vaughan Vipers, for which he was active from 2003 to 2005 in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. Then he attended for four years, the Niagara University, for their hockey team he played in parallel in the College Hockey America. With his team he won the 2008 CHA Championship. He was elected to the first All-Star team, the CHA. A year later, the choice was followed in the second All- Star team of the College Conference. Towards the end of the 2008/09 season was the winger made his debut in professional hockey for the Reading Royals of the ECHL, where he scored four goals and five assists in nine games. For the 2009/10 season he was bound by the HC Alleghe, for whom he played four seasons in the Italian Serie A1. He then moved into the HockeyAllsvenskan, the second Swedish league for IF Troja Ljungby -.
Internationally
For Italy, Rocco first participated at the A World Championship 2012, but was unable to prevent relegation to Division I. However, in the following year the Italiern succeeded the immediate re- ascent to which Rocco with two goals, the 5-1 victory against the later relegated Britain and the 1-0 opener in decisive for the ascent 2-1 win over 3:1 host Hungary, contributed. He also took part in the Olympic qualification for the Games in Sochi in 2014, but also his three goals could not prevent the departure of the Italians.
