Vince Snowbarger

Vincent K. Snow Barger ( born September 16, 1949 in Kankakee, Illinois) is an American politician. Between 1997 and 1999 he represented the third electoral district of the state of Kansas in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Vince Snow Barger visited until 1967 Shawnee Mission South High School in Overland Park ( Kansas). Subsequently, he studied until 1971 at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany (Oklahoma). Until 1974, he then studied law at the University of Illinois. Snow Barger finished his training in 1977 with a degree from the University of Kansas.

After his studies, he was 1973-1977 itself lecturer at Mid America Nazarene College. From 1978 to 1984 he was adviser to the Republican Party, whose member he was. From 1982 to 1984 he worked in the City of Olathe Planning Commission (Illinois ) with. Between 1985 and 1996 Snow Barger deputy in the House of Representatives from Kansas.

In the congressional elections of 1996, Snow Barger was selected in the third district of Kansas in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington. There he stepped on 3 January 1997 the successor of Jan Meyers. In Congress, he was considered very conservative, so that he even lost the support of some moderate Republicans in his constituency, which led to being voted out in 1998.

During the reign of U.S. President George W. Bush was Snow Barger deputy director and 2006-2007 Acting Head of the Pension Authority ( Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation).
