Visco, Friuli

Visco ( in furlanischen dialect: visc ) is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 767 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the province of Udine in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The municipality is situated approximately 20.5 kilometers south-southeast of Udine on Ruggia Mille Acqua.

History

The community was until the end of World War I part of the county of Gorizia and Gradisca, where she was placed under the jurisdiction Cervignano, which in turn was part of the district Monfalcone.

Traffic

Passing through the municipality, the former State Road 252 di Palma Nova (now a regional road ) Codroipo Gradisca d' Isonzo.
