Višňová (Jindřichův Hradec District)

Višňová ( German Wischnau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 15 km north-west of Hradec Jindřichův and belongs to Okres Jindřichův Hradec.

Geography

Višňová located in South Bohemia. Neighboring towns are Dírná in the north, Samosoly in the northeast, Pluhův Zdar in the east, in the southeast Pohoří, Lhota, Kardašova Řečice and Pleše in the south, and Záhoří Lzin in the west and Závsí in the northwest.

History

Was first documented the village in 1340.
