Vitali Sitnikov

Vitaly Sergeyevich Sitnikov (Russian Виталий Сергеевич Ситников; born October 20, 1981 in Nizhny Tagil, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk in the Kontinental Hockey League since January 2011.

Career

Vitaly Sitnikov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown of Nizhny Tagil at Sputnik, for the first team he held until 2006, was active from 2000 in Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. Then, the attacker moved to season 2006/ 07 to HK MVD Tver from the Super League, for whom he in the highest Russian league in 15 games scored a goal in his rookie year and gave five assists.

From 2007 to 2009 Sitnikov played for Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Wysschaja league. Then the team was taken to the 2009/10 season in the year before, founded Continental Hockey League and the Russian could in the aftermath win a regular place in the KHL. In January 2011, the links Sagittarius moved within the KHL newly promoted HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk.
