Vitaly Atyushov

Vitaly Georgijewitsch Atjuschow (Russian Виталий Георгиевич Атюшов; born July 4, 1979 in Penza, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since June 2011 Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Vitaly Atjuschow began his career in 1996 at Krylia Sovetov Moscow. In 1999 he moved to Molot - Prikamye Perm, where he played until 2002. NHL Entry Draft 2002 Ottawa Senators selected him in the ninth round of the 276th place. The 2002/03 season the defender played at Ak Bars Kazan. In its current HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk Atjuschow is since 2003 under contract and clothed there the captaincy. With Metallurg he became Champion of Russia in 2007 and a year later won the IIHF European Champions Cup.

After eight years in Magnitogorsk Atjuschow left the club after the 2010/11 season and moved within the KHL for reigning KHL champions Salavat Yulaev Ufa

Internationally

Atjuschow played with the Russian national team at the World Championships in 2006, 2007 and 2009, where he was able to record two goals and ten assists for itself in 25 games.
