Vladimir Martynenko

Vladimir Vladimirovich Martynenko (Russian: Владимир Владимирович Мартыненко; born March 24, 1957 in Kiev, Ukraine ) is a Russian sociologist, political scientist and economist.

He is a Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor and Deputy Director of the Centre for Applied and socio-political analysis of the Russian Academy of Sciences, briefly RAN ( ISPI RAN) for scientific purposes.

The main directions of his scientific activity are economic sociology, political sociology, research of social and constitutive importance of monetary credit conditions as well as critical analysis of Marxism and the problem of the vulgarization of liberal theories.

Scientific main results

Major works

In the monographs "social science of monetary and financial relations " ( 2004) and " Unknown policy of the Bank of Russia" (2004) is first represented a fundamentally new approach for the analysis of intrinsic characteristics of money and of the evolution of forms of money, a new socially contingent concept of monetary policy and ensuring stability of the monetary and credit system is proposed. Concrete measures to transform the role and subordination of money power in the overall system of separation of powers as a prerequisite for the development of civil society and to overcome internal contradictions of a democratic order of a state are formulated and theoretically justified.

In the monograph " Unknown policy of the Bank of Russia" (2004) is a complex analysis of goals and methods of monetary and credit policy, which was implemented in Russia since the early 90s, carried out; Moreover, an analysis of their socio- economic and political consequences is made. The activities and ideology of the Central Bank and the Government of the RF in the monetary sphere are criticized, such as questions about design of an efficient banking system and problems in the interaction between the central bank and commercial banks. The author proposes a fundamentally new approach to the conduct of monetary emission, which presupposes a rejection of any backups of the issue of the central bank. Conversely, the volume of the issue of the central bank must ensure (through the funding mechanism and the system of deposit insurance) credit and money emission of the commercial banks themselves.
