Vladislav Tkachiev

Vladislav Tkachiev (English transcription Vladislav Tkatschiew; Russian Владислав Ткачёв / Vladislav Tkachev, born November 9, 1973 in Moscow ) is a French chess master Russian- Kazakh origin.

Life

Tkachiev arrived in Moscow to the world, but moved in 1982 with his parents in Kazakhstan, where he was a 9- year-old learned the rules of chess (at a Kyrgyzstan - holiday ). In 1985, he won the Junior Championship of Kazakhstan. In 1992, he represented the first time Kazakhstan on the Chess Olympiad. He became International Champion, 1995 Grand Master in 1993. In 1999 he won the Cannes competition against Alberto David 6-2 ( 4 = 4 -0 ) and John van der Wiel 7:3 ( 5, = 4, -1). In 2000 he played in Cannes 4-4 ( 2 = 4, -2) against Jeroen Piket. In 2005 he participated in the semifinals to Russian championship. 2005 in Saint -Vincent and 2006 he was joining with the team Tomsk -400 at the European Club Cup European Team Champion. In 2006, he was in Besançon after a tie-break in rapid chess against Laurent Fressinet first French masters (both scored in the tournament 7.5 from 11; Tkachiev won 1.5:0.5 in the jump ).

In April 2007, during his third European Championship participation, Tkachiev became European Champion in Dresden. After 11 laps he had achieved as well as six other players, 8 points.
