Vlatko Andonovski

Vlatko Andonovski ( born 14 September 1976 in Skopje ) is a retired American soccer player and current coach with Macedonian roots.

Career

Player

Andonovski played six years in the Macedonian football league for the capital clubs Rabotnički Skopje, Makedonija Skopje and Vardar Skopje. In the U.S., he ran from the year 2000 in the Indoor Soccer at the Wichita Wings in the NPSL, and the Kansas City Comets, California Cougars and Philadelphia KiXX in the MISL on.

Coach

From 2010 Andonovski was assistant coach of Kim Røntved at the newly established indoor soccer franchise of the Missouri Comets. In December 2012, he was appointed the first head coach in the history of NWSL franchise FC Kansas City and reached Kansas in the 2013 season, the play-offs, when one lies in the semi-finals with 2-3 aet failed due to the eventual champions FC Portland Thorns. Nevertheless Andonovski was chosen coach of the year in the NWSL and moved from August 2013 in addition to the head coach of the Missouri Comets on.
