Volkan Dikmen

Volkan Dikmen (born 14 October 1991 in Berlin ) is a German -Turkish football player.

Career

Association

Dikmen was the son of Turkish immigrants working in Berlin at the world and began here in the youth department of the SV Nord Wedding 1893 with the club football. Here he was spotted by talent scouts from Hertha BSC and joined in summer 2005 in the youth department of Hertha.

For the second half of the season 2009/10 season Dikmen was the Turkish first division club Kayserispor an offer that he accepted and joined in the Turkish Süper Lig. Here he came in a year to only two Erstligaeinsätzen, and rather played for the reserve team.

In the winter transfer window 2010/11 Dikmen moved within the League newly promoted Kardemir Karabükspor. The change to Karabükspor came in hindsight but not materialize. So Dikmen his career in Germany decided to continue. After his return from Turkey, he hired the Berlin club Türkiyemspor and played here one and a half years. For the spring of 2012 he left Türkiyemspor, to the spring of 2012 he left Türkiyemspor after insolvency proceedings have been opened against the club. He moved into fourth Turkish league to Sancaktepe Belediyespor.

After one year for Sancaktepe Belediyespor Dikmen hired in the spring of 2013 to the second division TKI Tavşanlı Linyitspor.

National

Dikmen played several times for the Turkish U-17, U -18 and U-19 youth national team. With the U-17 he participated in the U-17 Football Championship in 2008 and came with his team to the semifinals.
