Wadi as-Ser

Wadi as - Sir (Arabic وادى السير, DMG Wādī as - Sīr ) is a city located near the Jordan River south-west of Amman in Jordan. In the city live about 193,000 inhabitants, so it is one of the largest cities in Jordan. The city lies at 928 meters above sea level.

About 10 km from the town are the ruins of Qasr al - Abd ( slave fortress ) and the Iraq al -Amir ( Prince caves ).
