Walter Dwight Bradley

Dwight Walter Bradley ( born October 30, 1946 in Clovis, New Mexico) is an American politician. Between 1995 and 2002 he served in the state of New Mexico as lieutenant governor.

Career

Walter Dwight Bradley, son of Margaret Jo (1913-1980) and Ralph W. Bradley (1908-1964), was born about a year after the end of the Second World War in Curry County. He had an older brother, Charles D. "Chuck" Bradley ( 1939-2002 ). Walter graduated from Clovis High School. He then visited the Eastern New Mexico University in Portales in Roosevelt County. He then moved to Dallas ( Texas), where he first worked for Texas Instruments and later at National Chemsearch Corporation. During this time he received several awards and quickly rose through the ranks to. His wife Deborah he married in Clovis. The couple had their son term. 1976 the family moved to Clovis. There he founded a real estate company. He was listed in Who's Who of Finance and Industry and Who's Who in the West. In the following years, his son Lance and his daughter Nicole were born.

Politically, he belongs to the Republican Party. Between 1989 and 1992 he sat in the Senate from New Mexico. During this time he was a member of the Economic Development Committee and the Education Committee. In November 1994 he was elected Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico. In 1998 a re-election. He held the post of 1995 to 2002. As Lieutenant Governor, he was President of the Senate. He sat in the New Mexico Space Commission Board, the New Mexico Border Authority and the Executive Board for the Workforce Development Board. He was also the chair of the Small Business Advocacy Council. As a result, he conducted a legislative reform to remove regulatory hurdles for small businesses. He also served as honorary chairman of the New Mexico Resource Advisory Council and was elected New Mexico 's top one appointed for Federal Environmental Relations. In the Republican Primary of 2002, he ran unsuccessfully for the office of governor of New Mexico. At the beginning of his first term as lieutenant governor, the family moved to Santa Fe. During this time, her daughter Kristin was born. At the beginning of his second term, the family moved to Albuquerque.

After the end of his last term as lieutenant governor, he joined the post as Assistant Commissioner country to monitor the Commercial and Special Projects Division.
