Walter Map
Walter Map (* 1140, † 1208-1210 ) was an English writer of Welsh origin.
Map studied theology in Paris, later became archdeacon in Oxford and worked as a major scholar at the English King Henry II yard. In 1179 he was a delegate at the Third Lateran Council. The only handed down and it sure zuzuordnendes work is De Nugis Curialium ( 1181-1193 ).
