Wartislaw IV, Duke of Pomerania

Wartislaw IV ( * before 1290; † August 1, 1326 ) was Duke of Pomerania - Wolgast.

Wartislaw IV was the son of the Duke Bogislaw IV and his wife Margaret of Rügen ( a daughter of Prince Wizlaw II ). He had four sisters: Jutta, Elizabeth, Margaret and Eufemia.

He was married to Elisabeth of Lindau -Ruppin and had with her three sons:

  • Bogislaw V.
  • Barnim IV
  • Wartislaw V.

From 1309 Wartislaw IV Duke of Pomerania - Wolgast and was graduated in 1321 with a Erbeinung the Principality of Rügen, which was already effective 1325.
