Wine Castle is a municipality with 1319 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Sankt Pölten- Land in Lower Austria.

History

In ancient times, the area was part of the province of Noricum. In 1283 the city was first mentioned in a document, already in 1209 the castle was inhabited Waasen.
