Wet the Bed

Wet the Bed is a song by the American musician Chris Brown. It was released on September 13, 2011 as the sixth and final single from Brown's fourth studio album FAME, after which it is placed on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 77. Outside the U.S., the title is not a rose in the charts. The rapper Ludacris joins the song as a guest musician in appearance.

Background and publication

The song was written by Chris Brown, Derrick " Bigg D" Baker, Kevin McCall, Amber Streeter, Andre Merritt, Joseph Bereal and Ludacris, with Bigg D at the same time also served as producer. It was recorded by Brian Springer at At the Record Plant, a recording studio in Los Angeles, California. Springer was responsible for the mix, in this case, however, he learned by Iain Findlay support. On September 13, 2011 they released the album for the radio format Urban Contemporary.

Live performances

For the first time Brown and Ludacris sing the song on 18 March 2011 at a party in honor of the album FAME, which was released a few days later in the U.S.. During the F.A.M.E. Tour, which began in Australia in April and was continued after a break of several months from September to December 2011 the title was also part of the setlist. This guest musician Ludacris, however, was no longer involved in the performances.

Reception

In USA Today called it the title of " lewd " and was of the opinion that Brown was going on to a new phase of his music. Joanne Dorken from British MTV felt because of the song " rather besorglich ". It noted further that the text of the song is increasing emphasis turn, as Brown explores ways to " satisfy " a woman. Another reviewer noted that " Brown's identity crisis will reveal most obviously by the title ." Hannah Ash criticized the lyrics of the song as "any anekelnd and something which one does not have to give his attention." However, they also praised Brown voice that wiedergutmache this. In IGN Entertainment is noted that the title of the blush would by its " gross exaggeration " Text R. Kelly at the time of his debut album in the face let rise.

Commercial success

The song rose only one in the charts in the U.S. and reached outside the country no placement. In the Billboard Hot 100, the title placed in the first week at No. 96 until he finally a few weeks later with rank 77 gained its maximum placement.
