Run It!

Run It! is the debut single of the U.S. musician Chris Brown. The rapper Juelz Santana came here as a guest musician in appearance. The song was released on 30 June 2005 and reached after a few weeks, in November 2005, number one on the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for five consecutive weeks.

Background

Brown was discovered by a team of producers called Hitmission Records in his home at the age of 13 years. This helped him to various demo recordings, until it finally in December 2004, signed a recording contract with Jive Records. In February 2005, Brown began with the recording of his debut album, which was released in November 2005.

Music Video

The music video was directed by Erik White. It shows Brown dancing in a gym. There he meets a girl, to whom he 's attracted, and he wants me to dance.
