Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on June 11, 2012 by the District Administrator of Saalekreis. Since the text of the blazon was written incorrectly several times on the crest letter ( quartered instead of quartered, Stockacker take stock anchor ), the process of issuance of the coat of arms letter was repeated. The subsequently crest letter is dated 9 November 2012.

Blazon: " quartered shield; 1: in red a silver castle with battlements and open, golden gate, with a low crenellated central tower with black window opening between two pointy roofed towers crenellated side with three (1:2) black window openings; 2: Silver in a red floor anchor; 3: Silver in a green Einscharpflug; 4: two diagonally crossed in green, the beards away recurring, silver key. "

It was proposed by the new city Wettin - Löbejün to connect the coat of arms symbolism based on the former namesake city coat of arms, consulting a reference to the former rural communities. Furthermore, should the Saale location close to symbolically find inclusion in the coat of arms. The heraldic reaction was carried out by the Wettin family coat of arms was made easily changed in field 1 of a squared shield; came the crossed keys from the Löbejüner coat of arms, which relate to the patron saint of St. Peter's Church in Box 4. It should be noted in this regard that the roses in the local coat of arms of Löbejün have no substantive meaning. They were only designed to fill the open spaces. Moreover, two of the roses heraldic wrong ( red) were tinged, so their inclusion would not be approved. In view of its close location to the Saale, which is not only a water utility, but also the transport ships was historically, carrying a cane armature field 2. This differs from Flunkenanker by the upper cross bar which is issued laterally and ensures that the anchor fluke hooks in the ground. The coat of arms was developed by Jörg Kommunalheraldiker Mantzsch.

Flag

The flag is green - white ( 1:1) striped ( cross- shape: strips horizontally extending, longitudinal shape: strip running vertically ) and centrally occupied with the coat of arms.
