Wiedau

The Wiedau is a left tributary of the Wümme in Lower Saxony ( Germany ). She follows with their tributary streams of Nordwestabdachung the Lüneburg Heath, which merges gradually into a sandy valley.

Course

The upper reaches of the Wiedau represents the Mehlandsbach which arises south of Schwalingen, a town in the municipality New churches, by the confluence of several streams. In the field of Samtgemeinde Bothel the Wiedau flows through a wooded and natural lowlands. Shortly after she took the little smaller Rodau from left, leads the Wiedau in Rotenburg in the Wümme.
