William de Mandeville

William de Mandeville († 1105/1116 ) was an English knight from the house and Mandeville Constable of the Tower of London.

He was the son and heir of Geoffrey de Mandeville. He was like his father, constable of the Tower of London and this at a time when the Tower ( where known ) with Ranulf Flambard hosted a political prisoner for the first time. Flambards flight in February 1101 had significant consequences for William: King Henry I seized the central part of Williams owned in Essex.

William was probably married to Margaret, daughter of Eudo Fitzhubert ( Dapifer ) and Rohese de Clare ( daughter of Richard de Bien Faite ). Her son Geoffrey received the confiscated property back.
