William L. O'Brien

William L. "Bill" O'Brien ( born July 20, 1951) is an American lawyer and politician.

Personal and Professional

The study of law at Suffolk University, he graduated in 1977 as a Juris Doctor and a legal continuing education program at the Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2003 as a Master of Laws from.

O'Brien has been a lawyer and lives in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire. O'Brien is a member of the Bar Association of New Hampshire and director of the New Hampshire Legal Rights Foundation. He was a law professor at the New England School of Law.

Policy

Bill O'Brien was first elected in 2004 in the House of Representatives of New Hampshire for the Republican Party and was a member until 2006. In 2008, he was able to move again in the Parliament and has since been continuously a member. O'Brien represented the constituency of Hillsborough 4 and has been representing the new division of constituencies Hillsborough 5

In December 2010, O'Brien was elected Speaker ( Chairman ) of the House of Representatives. After the 2012 election he applied not return to this office.
