Angle is between Sangerhausen and cross- ford in the conservation area Saale Unstrut Triasland.
History
In a resulting 881-899 Directory of tithing of Hersfeld Monastery angle is first mentioned as requiring a tenth place in the frieze Winchilla field in a document.
With effect from 1 October 1945, the angle until then lying in Thuringia was assigned to the circle Sangerhausen the province of Saxony.
