Wolfgang I of Oettingen

Wolfgang I. Graf von Oettingen (* May 16, 1455; † January 29, 1522 in Harburg) was Count of Oettingen.

Wolfgang was the third son of Count Wilhelm von Oettingen († 1467 ) and his wife Beatrice della Scala. He became the Counts of Oettingen after the death of his brother Johann II von Oettingen, who died in 1519 without a male heir. His brother Frederick was in 1485 Bishop of Passau. 1482 married Anna I. Wolfgang von Waldburg - Waldsee ( † March 20, 1507 ). They had two sons, Charles and Louis. He was involved in the Swabian League.
