Wolfgang Liebeneiner

Wolfgang Georg Louis One Love ( born October 6, 1905 in Liebau, Silesia Province; † 28 November 1987 in Vienna ) was a German actor and director.

Life

The son of a textile manufacturer was promoted during his studies of philosophy, German literature and history Head of the Academic Game crowd in Munich. In 1928 he got from Otto Falkenberg, director of the Munich Studio Theater acting and directing lessons. In the same year he made his debut in Wedekind's Spring Awakening and dedicated himself to all the art of acting.

In 1931 he made his debut as a theater director and received in the same year his first film role in The Other Side, in which he played a British lieutenant. He was subscribed in a subtle, often tragic lovers. In 1936 he became a member of the State Theatre Berlin and 1938 artistic director of the German Film Academy Babelsberg. In 1937 he made ​​his first film as a director. In 1939 he became head of the student council of the film Reichsfilmkammer. Love One was married twice, from 1934 to actress Ruth Hellberg and from 1944 with the actress Hilde Krahl. The daughter Johanna Love One from last marriage was a well-known actress herself. After a long illness Wolfgang Liebeneiner died on 28 November 1987 in Vienna and was buried in the cemetery Sieveringer in Vienna's 19th district. The grave has already been let.
