Wolfgang Liebeneiner
Wolfgang Georg Louis One Love ( born October 6, 1905 in Liebau, Silesia Province; † 28 November 1987 in Vienna ) was a German actor and director.
Life
The son of a textile manufacturer was promoted during his studies of philosophy, German literature and history Head of the Academic Game crowd in Munich. In 1928 he got from Otto Falkenberg, director of the Munich Studio Theater acting and directing lessons. In the same year he made his debut in Wedekind's Spring Awakening and dedicated himself to all the art of acting.
In 1931 he made his debut as a theater director and received in the same year his first film role in The Other Side, in which he played a British lieutenant. He was subscribed in a subtle, often tragic lovers. In 1936 he became a member of the State Theatre Berlin and 1938 artistic director of the German Film Academy Babelsberg. In 1937 he made his first film as a director. In 1939 he became head of the student council of the film Reichsfilmkammer. After a few entertainment films him of Goebbels soon politically important projects have been entrusted to: with Bismarck, he created the "Iron Chancellor " 1940, a cinematic monument. In 1941 he led in close collaboration with the Nazi Propaganda Ministry Director in the film I Accuse, the euthanasia of a multiple sclerosis patient discussed. This film is not least due to its manipulative opinion per euthanasia as " euthanasia film", which should justify the murders of the Action T4 patients. The film Dismissal (1942 ) presented again at the center of Bismarck. In 1942, Love One head of production Ufa and member of the Presidential Council of the Ministry of Arts. 1943 awarded him Goebbels with a professor.
After the war, Love One could already in the autumn of 1945 his theater work wiederaufnehmen.1947 he staged at the Hamburg Chamber of playing the world premiere of Wolfgang Borchert's outside the door, which he also filmed 47 under the title Love. In the Adenauer era Liebeneiner has directed several films in which repeated Ruth Leuwerik played the lead role as The Trapp Family and Queen Louise. In the 1960s he turned more and more to television, for which he mainly plays, novels and stories filmed. So in 1966 for ZDF Christmas Vierteiler Treasure Island from the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. Outside of television, he devoted himself particularly to the staging of operas and operettas at various opera houses. Love One was married twice, from 1934 to actress Ruth Hellberg and from 1944 with the actress Hilde Krahl. The daughter Johanna Love One from last marriage was a well-known actress herself. After a long illness Wolfgang Liebeneiner died on 28 November 1987 in Vienna and was buried in the cemetery Sieveringer in Vienna's 19th district. The grave has already been let.

In 1965, he staged for the HR one consisting of a total of 8 parts adaptation of the novel The Buddenbrooks by Thomas Mann, in which he ( Thomas Buddenbrooks ) also spoke one of the main roles. Other key speakers included inter alia Gert Westphal ( narrator ), Hans Tügel (Johann Buddenbrooks the Elder ), Dieter Borsche (consul Johann Buddenbrooks ), Lil Dagover ( Elisabeth Consul Buddenbrooks ) and Horst Tappert ( Christian Buddenbrooks ).
Two years earlier, he also resulted when the HR Director in the radio play Reineke Fuchs after the eponymous epic poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Again he was heard as a speaker ( narrator ) itself. His partners were here among others Hans Georg leaves Thal, Volker von Collande, Eric Schildkraut, Hanns Ernst Jäger and Hans Korte.
