History

Wolfschlugen is mentioned for the first time on 2 April 1318. The Kirchheimer citizens Benz sold income from his farm in Wolfschlugen. However, it can be assumed that was already settled much earlier in this section, proof of this is for example a Roman villa in a forest near Wolfschlugen.

Economy

In the period after the Second World War, the settlement of small industrial enterprises began. Today there are in Wolfschlugen medium-sized companies and numerous craft shops, many of which are located in the industrial area in the direction Nürtingen. Coat of arms

The oldest representation of the coat of arms of Wolfschlugen found on a stone inscription of 1608 at the city hall. The slightly shifted Z black on a yellow background is (probably) a stylized Wolfsangel dar. Probably the Sign of the Wolf Angel was chosen as suitable to the place name.
