Wu Xueqian
Wu Xueqian (Chinese吴学谦; born December 19, 1921 in Shanghai, † April 4, 2008 ) was from 1982 to 1988 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
Life
1921 saw Wu in Shanghai the light of day. In 1939 he joined the Communist Party of China.
From 1982 to 1988 he held the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. In addition, Wu from 1987 to 1992 Member of the XIII. Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
He died on 4 April 2008 at the age of 86 years from a disease.
