Yako

Region

Yako is a city ( commune urbaine ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African state of Burkina Faso, about 110 kilometers northwest of the capital, Ouagadougou, located in the Northern Region and capital of the province Passoré. In the area with 40 villages and the articulated into seven sectors main town live 79 408 inhabitants ( 2006 census ).
