Yantian District

Yantian (Chinese盐田 区, pinyin Yantian qū, literally " salt box " ) is one of ten districts of the Chinese city of Shenzhen. The municipality is located within the Special Economic Zone between Luohu and Longgang.

Yantian is the hub of logistics activities of Shenzhen, in particular here is a large container port.

In Shatoujiao the aircraft carrier Minsk is as a tourist attraction.

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, Yantian is composed of four road districts. These are:

• Road district Haishan (海山 街道);
• Road district Meisha (梅沙 街道);
• Road district Shatoujiao (沙头角 街道);
• Road Yantian district (盐田 街道).
