Yaren District

Yaren (formerly Jarren; well Makwa or moqua ) nauruischer District, seat of government, institutions of Nauru. However, it is contrary to common assumptions, not the capital, as there are no official capital of Nauru. Sometimes Aiwo is specified as the unofficial capital, but Yaren is generally viewed as a so-called " main district ". It belongs to the same constituency Yaren.

Yaren is the only internationally familiar Nauruan city with 5100 inhabitants, which consists of the largest continuous settlement in the Southwest. Within Nauru, it is a district with a population of 747, and is 1.5 km ². It borders Boe in the northwest, on the north and Buada Meneng to the east.
