Yasir Butt

Yasir Ali Butt ( born July 3, 1988 in Lahore ) is a Pakistani squash player.

Career

Yasir Butt started his professional career in 2003 and won a tournament so far on the PSA World Tour. He stood beyond in nine other finals. Even at a junior he won great success. So he stood in Islamabad in 2004 at the Junior World Cup in the final against the Egyptians Ramy Ashour, but this encounter clearly lost with 5:9, 8:10 and 3:9.

Its highest ranking in the world rankings, he reached Rank 40 in July 2008. With the Pakistani national team he took in 2007, 2009 and 2011 participated in the World Championships. In addition, he won this in 2010 at the Asian Games gold medal. He failed to qualify for the World Cup only in 2009. In the first round, he retired against Thierry Lincou with 0:3.
