Zábrodí

Zábrodí ( German Zabrody ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south-east of Cerveny Kostelec and belongs to Okres Náchod.

Geography

The community Zábrodí extends with its districts Horni Rybníky and Končiny an extensive area between Cerveny Kostelec and Dolni Radechová and is located east of the ponds Spinka and Brodský rybnik. Neighboring towns are Cerveny Kostelec the northwest, Kostelecké Končiny in the north, Horni Radechová, Studénky and Dolni Rybníky in the east, Dolni Radechová to the southeast, and Kramolna Trubějov in the south and Olešnice in the West.

History

The municipality was created in 1960 by merger of Zábrodí villages Zábrodí, Horni Rybníky and Končiny.

Zábrodí

Zábrodí belonged to the rule Cervena Hora and came up with this in the 15th century to the reign of giant castle. In 1582 it became part of the dominion Náchod, with which it remained attached until the abolition of patrimonial 1848. For the year 1794 153 inhabitants and twenty houses are listed. The village remained small and insignificant; the economic base of residents formed in addition to agriculture, the domestic weaving. 1901 Zábrodí given its own schoolhouse.

Horni Rybníky

The first mention of Horni Rybníky is demonstrated for 1447, when it was owned by Straka of Nedabylice. After numerous changes of ownership, it was in the 18th century to the reign Náchod. In 1848 it became an independent municipality in 1855 and united with Horni Radechova. From 1894 to 1960 there was again an independent municipality. The children of Horni Rybníky were initially enrolled to Horni Radechova, from 1886 they could be taught in Horni Rybníky. Ten years later, a school house was built.

Končiny

This village belonged until the merger in 1960 with Zábrodí to the community Horni Radechová.

The municipality consists of the villages Zábrodí ( Zabrody ), Horni Rybníky (Upper Rybnik ) and Končiny.
