Zahida Manzoor

Zahida Parveen Manzoor, Baroness Manzoor CBE ( born May 25, 1958 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan) is an English businesswoman, and since 2013 a member of the Upper House.

Manzoor was, Pakistan (military veteran and businessman) and his wife Mahroof Ahmed was born in Rawalpindi, the daughter of Nazir Ahmed, who - when she was four years old - immigrated to England. First she became a nurse to finish in 1983 at the University of Leeds and in 1989 with an MA from the University of Bradford their studies. She was a lecturer, before she could continue her career in the National Health Service.

Career

From 1992 to 1997, Manzoor chairman of the Bradford Health Authority, before she was appointed from 1997 to 2001 to one of eight regional chairman of the National Health Service ( NHS).
