Zbyněk Hráček

Zbynek Hráček ( born September 9, 1970 in Uherské Hradiště, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech chess grandmaster.

Hráček 1990 International Champion, 1993 Grand Master, he learned to play chess from his uncle at the age of five years. At the Junior European Championship in Arnhem 1990, he was third. Hráček won in Altensteig 1995 and Lippstadt 2000. Hráček twice played for Czechoslovakia and six times for the Czech Republic at the Chess Olympiad twice for the Czech Republic on the first board, he has played a total 75 games and got 45 points. In 1994 he won the national championship of the Czech Republic.

His current Elo rating is 2631 (as of November 2010), so that it occupies the third place of the Czech rankings. He had his highest ever Elo rating of 2650 in January 1996.
