Zeno Colò

Zeno Colò (* June 30, 1920 in Abetone, † May 12 1993 in San Marcello Pistoiese, Pistoia ) was an Italian alpine skier.

1950 Colò was at the World Championships in Aspen World Champion in downhill and giant slalom in the newly introduced it came up the silver medal in the slalom. At the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 he won the gold medal in the downhill. In 1950 he won the downhill and slalom the inaugural 3- Tre race.

From 1941 to 1955 Colò won a total of 19 Italian league titles - more than any other:

  • Slalom ( 7): 1941, 1943, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1954, 1955
  • Giant Slalom ( 2): 1952, 1954
  • Departure ( 5): 1941, 1948, 1949, 1954, 1955
